Britain's biggest regional art fair is coming back to Gloucestershire this April 2026, as Fresh: Art Fair brings over 50 galleries exhibiting work from hundreds of the most exciting UK and international artists to Cheltenham Racecourse – and there's a whole host of new exhibitors this year.

When is Fresh: Art Fair 2026?

Fresh: Art Fair returns to The Centaur from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 April 2026, with the fair open from 11am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

What to expect from Fresh: Art Fair 2026 at Cheltenham Racecourse?

Fresh: Art Fair is the only fair outside London where art lovers can browse and buy the work of the most exciting emerging talents, alongside pieces from famous names like Hockney, Picasso and Matisse.

The art on offer spans paintings, original prints, photography, sculpture, ceramics and glass, with prices ranging from £100 up to around £20,000, so all art lovers, whether they're established collectors or just starting out, can find something to suit their budget.

The popular outdoor Sculpture Park is returning in 2026 with a dazzling array of garden art in everything from bronze to stone; and Chorley’s Auctioneers is on hand throughout the fair, sharing its expertise on selling pre-contemporary artwork and other antiquities.

There are licensed cafes and bars, as well as a programme of complementary activities including free workshops and artist demonstrations.

Friday is Charity Day, when Fresh: Art Fair is raising money for Great Western Air Ambulance Charity – with volunteers running lifesaving CPR training sessions throughout the day, all included in the ticket price.

While on Saturday and Sunday, when the fair welcomes families, there are free children's trails and creative activities, including the Fresh: Young Artist Competition, in partnership with RAA Architects, where visitors under 16 years-old can draw, paint, cut out or collage their dream home for a chance to win prizes.

There's even a free packing service, free parking at the racecourse and a free Park & Ride service from the town centre and Cheltenham Spa train station.
