Sunday diners at Brickhampton Court can choose from an impressive selection of drinks to accompany their meal, with wines, spirits, beers and ciders, cocktails and soft drinks available from the bar.

A Gloucestershire venue with a glowing reputation for Sunday lunch, golf course and foodie hotspot Brickhampton Court is one of the county's go-to destinations for a roast, whatever the weather.

Set amongst acres of countryside between Gloucester and Cheltenham, it's a great choice for a roast all year round, with the option to dine alfresco on its sun-soaked patio overlooking the golf course, or in the stylish surrounds of its restaurant, Nineteen.

Serving up a choice of meats accompanied by all the trimmings, along with a tasty veggie option and plenty more besides, its ever-popular Sunday menu draws a full house of hungry diners every weekend – with booking essential to secure a table, as spaces fill up fast!

With a menu featuring 'flavour-packed' food crafted with fresh ingredients, diners can choose from a varied selection of starters, from battered tempura prawns, Buffalo southern fried chicken strips, and wild mushroom arancini with truffle mayo and parmesan, to Caesar salad, ciabatta with olives and dipping sauce, and a whole baked camembert to share – infused with garlic, drizzled with honey and served with warm crusty bread for dipping.

For the main event, choose from 16-hour roasted beef served with horseradish, roast turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce, a roast pork loin with apple sauce and crackling, or the Nineteen nut roast with vegan gravy – all of which come with a Yorkshire pudding.

The trimmings are served family-style, with sage roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese, honey and rosemary glazed carrots, buttered greens, and gravy for the table.

For those who can't decide, there's an option to have a trio of meats with all the accompaniments – and the add-on of crispy pigs in blankets. There's also a kids roast with any main or a trio of meats with a Yorkshire pud and accompaniments, too.

And if you've still got room for dessert, finish on a sweet note with apple and blackberry crumble tart served with ice cream and blackberry coulis, rhubarb and custard brulee with shortbread biscuit, triple chocolate brownie with banana, pecan and caramel ice cream, affogato, tiramisu, or a selection of ice creams.

Sunday lunch at Brickhampton Court is served between 12pm and 4pm every Sunday. To view the full menu and book a table, visit brickhampton.co.uk/nineteenatbrickhampton.
