Stanley Park in Stroud is a late Victorian baronial seat and the former home of Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

The Stroud mansion where Liam Gallagher lived has gone up for sale – and it has a suitably rock 'n' roll asking price.

The palatial Grade II-listed Stanley Park is believed to date back to the 16th century, and was an early Victorian baronial seat belonging to Sir Samuel Stephens Marling.

Extended in both the 1850s and 1870s, it was even visited by Queen Mary in 1941, but had fallen into disrepair before being bought at auction in 2016 and returned to its former Victorian gothic glory – while also adding a stunning new kitchen and wine cellar, gym, sauna, and home cinema room – with the painstaking restoration taking eight years.

The Oasis frontman lived in the 17,000 sq ft property in April 2024, ahead of his 'Definitely Maybe' solo tour, and stayed there for around a year – and it's now up for sale for £4.7 million.

As well as getting to say they've lived in the same house as the Britpop legend, the lucky buyer will have 11 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a ballroom, three impressive outdoor spaces including two terraces and 2.5 acres of gardens to enjoy, as well as exceptional interior decoration with beautifully restored period features, including a breathtaking stained glass skylight, and all of those state-of-the-art modern additions.

Fancy owning a bit of rock 'n' roll history? Stanley Park is on the market with DDRE Global, with full details on its website.
