Bringing festival vibes to The Brewery Quarter, Summer Jam 2026: The Lakefest Warmup gives festivalgoers a taste of what to expect from Lakefest this summer, as top talent from the lineup comes to Cheltenham town centre.
Who's on the lineup for Summer Jam 2026: The Lakefest Warmup?
Getting the party started on Friday evening is Flynn from beatbox band Duke – as seen on The X Factor – performing soulful songs with his daughter Kytana, followed by local favourite The Mark Walby Band with a set of crowd-pleasing pop and rock covers.
Saturday sees six talented bands battle it out for a slot on the main stage in the Road to Lakefest Grand Finale, followed by Loz Apperley performing iconic anthems from the 70s to today – then headliner Duke takes the stage once more, this time with Ed and Flynn performing their famous beatbox mashups, before DJ Shippers hits the decks for a silent disco until late.
Then on Sunday, there are performances from Cheltenham Rock Choir, Variations Dance Academy, Adam Cross, Emzy Music and Tate Note, then closing out the event on Sunday night is Hive with an energetic set spanning dance, house, hip hop and garage mashups featuring live beatboxing, vocals, bass and guitar.
Is there family entertainment at Summer Jam 2026: The Lakefest Warmup?
There's plenty to keep the kids entertained at Summer Jam 2026, with comedy, magic and juggling from Matt Barnard and Gareth Jones – AKA Cling Film Guy – on Saturday; while there's entertainment from magician Phil from Cotswold Children's Parties on Sunday.
Crafty families can also take part in free arts and crafts sessions with Spare Room Arts on Saturday and Sunday.

Summer Jam 2026: The Lakefest Warmup is free to attend and there's no need to book in advance, but please bear in mind that only food and drinks purchased from The Brewery Quarter will be permitted in the festival area.
