Following a successful first year, popular Cheltenham pub and restaurant The Gloucester Old Spot is bringing back it's Cider Festival – with two days of bank holiday weekend cider celebrations planned for Friday 22 and Saturday 23 May 2026.
Get ready to sip crisp pints of apple goodness, soak up the sunny vibes, kick back while enjoying live music and tuck into a barbecue to keep you fuelled all weekend long.
What's on Gloucester Old Spot's drinks menu?
Gloucester Old Spot Cider Festival is back, featuring a full array of dry, medium and sweet ciders to try. In keeping with the pub's ethos of supporting local, seven of its 2026 lineup of ciders are produced in Gloucestershire, with more from nearby Herefordshire and Somerset, too.
In total, there will be 15 alcoholic ciders and two non-alcoholic ciders and perries available – from producers including Just Pressed, Severn Cider, Dunkertons, Old Mout, Westons, Lilley’s, Thistly Cross and Celtic Marches all making the 2026 drinks menu.
Will food be available at the Cider Festival?
The Gloucester Old Spot chefs will be cooking up a barbecue feast fitting of the bank holiday occasion, complete with firm favourites and house smoked meat specials.
As well as a covered marquee with seating, there's more than 30 tables in the venue's beautiful beer garden to settle into with friends and family.
Will there be live entertainment?
Yes! Live entertainment is once again expected to be provided by a range of up and coming local performers.
