Located inside the former Gloucester Shirt Co. factory in the city centre, The Shirt Factory is a modern work hub offering a range of office and storage spaces for growing businesses – from tech geeks and creatives, to engineers and fabricators – with a range of amenities on-site including car parking, secure bike storage and a cafe area.

Following its official launch back in August 2026, Gloucester's newest work hub The Shirt Factory is fast becoming a melting pot of innovation across a diverse range of sectors.

SoGlos showcases nine businesses that have taken up space at The Shirt Factory to date – from a professional function band and events business, to a firm at the forefront of providing infrastructure for UK cyber and tech.

County to County Property Group

The developer behind transforming The Shirt Factory from a disused manufacturing site into a thriving modern business hub, County to County Property Group, is now fully based on site.

Known for a number of local redevelopments, both commercial and residential, along with projects across the UK through its contracting arm, the company is now seeing its ambitious vision for The Shirt Factory become reality first-hand, as one of its proud tenants.

ICHRC Ltd

ICHRC Ltd – or Immersion Cooling Heat Recovery Consultants – specialises in the consultation, design and building of strategic infrastructure for the 'rapidly evolving' data centres sector.

Having worked on more than 120 IT infrastructure projects and boasting 30-plus years of sector experience, the company has created 'the UK's first' dedicated immersion cooling training, hosting and engineering facility at The Shirt Factory, enabling it to design, test, and build immersion cooling systems here on UK soil.

Specialist data centre equipment, including portable systems for both military and medical use cases which can communicate via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 5G and satellite, will be built at The Shirt Factory, and are scheduled for release in early 2027.
