Founded in Cheltenham, financial planning firm rockwealth has reached a significant milestone with the opening of its 20th UK office in Glasgow.

The launch of rockwealth Glasgow extends the Gloucestershire group’s Scottish presence alongside Edinburgh and Aberdeen, bringing its approach to financial planning to more people across Scotland.

The Glasgow launch follows further growth in Gloucestershire earlier in 2026, with rockwealth opening a new Cotswolds office in Cirencester and expanding its Cheltenham headquarters with key appointments to support its growing client base and national network.

Leading the new office, which opened in autumn 2026, is Michael Jack, founder and director of rockwealth Glasgow, who joins having previously worked at Investec Wealth & Investment, now part of Rathbones Group.

For Michael, establishing his own business was an opportunity to shape the service he wanted to offer – with rockwealth’s emphasis on trust, clarity and evidence aligning with his own principles.

He said: ‘After eight and a half years in wealth management, I wanted to take the next step in my career and build a business where I could deliver the very best service to my clients.’

The group’s evidence-based investment philosophy and transparent fixed fees were central to that decision.

‘For me, this is about more than launching a business; it’s about giving people access to a different approach to financial planning, where the starting point is what they want their money to help them achieve, rather than which products they should buy,’ Michael continued.

rockwealth’s ongoing financial planning service includes regular reviews of clients’ circumstances, objectives and progress. Plans are updated as priorities change, including when clients approach retirement, sell a business or prepare to pass on wealth.

The service also includes financial coaching to help clients understand the behavioural biases that can influence investment decisions and consider market volatility in the context of their long-term plans.

Gloucestershire entrepreneur Tim Horrocks, chief executive of rockwealth Group, said: ‘Financial planning isn’t a one-off transaction. Life changes, priorities evolve and markets inevitably go through difficult periods.’

Tim added: ‘Opening our 20th office is an important milestone for rockwealth, but what matters most is what it represents: making high-quality, evidence-led financial planning available to more people.’
