Gloucester-based facilities management company, Hewer, has announced two major appointments in its senior leadership team this July 2026.
Marking an 'important step' towards long-term succession, the move is set to strengthen its leadership structure, with Stuart Hesk becoming managing director, and Ian Haughton taking on the newly created commercial director role.
Founded in Gloucester in 1965, Hewer has grown to become one of the south west's leading providers of facilities management and renewable energy services, supporting the domestic, commercial, and public sectors, while retaining the family values it has held since the beginning.
The company underwent a management buyout in 2024, and is calling this latest move a 'strategic evolution' as it prepares for its 'next stage of growth'.
CEO Simon Hewer said: 'This announcement represents an exciting milestone in Hewer's journey. Stuart and Ian have both played key roles in the success of the business, and this new leadership structure positions us perfectly for the future.

Ian said: 'I am delighted to be taking on the role of commercial director as part of our long-term succession planning.
