Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is giving supporters a unique chance to have a name of their choice take flight on its lifesaving missions, printed on one its air ambulance helicopters.
High Flyers gives supporters the opportunity to have a special name of their choosing memorialised amongst the 'iconic' reflective chevrons on the underside of the helicopter. Supporters will also receive a personalised certificate and commemorative coin.
In return, supporters are asked to make a donation of £150 to the charity, to help the service continue its lifesaving operations across the UK's largest air ambulance area, covering six counties including Gloucestershire.
There will be 1,600 names in total printed on the H145 helicopter, which will be visible to countless people across the charity's operational area, symbolising the 'community spirit and generosity' that fuels its lifesaving missions.
Supporters can choose to have their own name, a loved one's, or the name of a community group, with a maximum of 30 characters.
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity pilot, Captain Danny Shorter, said: 'Every mission we undertake is made possible by the generosity of our supporters. The names on our helicopter will serve as a constant reminder of the lives and communities we are here to serve.
'It’s incredibly humbling to know that these names represent stories of love, loss, and hope, carried with us on every flight.'
