Gloucestershire-based Nimble Elearning has empowered hundreds of organisations across all sectors to provide high-quality online training. As a proud certified B Corp, Nimble makes it easy for businesses to manage training, build bespoke courses, or access ready-made, fully editable content that genuinely supports their teams.

Empowering organisations to develop approachable online training for their teams – without having to be tech experts – Gloucestershire company Nimble Elearning is entering an exciting new chapter in 2026, with a refreshed learning management platform developed around the needs of its customers and their learners.

Since 2009, the Stonehouse-based firm has been helping customers build and deliver 'fuss-free, engaging, and affordable' elearning – whether for critical compliance, onboarding, or skills development – through unique online tools that are quick and easy to use, supported by its team of experts.

With the launch of the new Nimble LMS (Learning Management System) representing the next stage in how it supports its customers, SoGlos explores the complete Nimble proposition, including how the people behind the technology go the extra mile to help teams achieve their training goals.

Nimble Author and Nimble Essentials courses

Organisations can create their own bespoke training courses, tailored to the needs of their learners, through the easy-to-use Nimble Author tool.

The intuitive platform enables users to build engaging courses fast, with a simple drag-and-drop interface, where you can add your own company branding, text, images, audio and video to flexible page templates, along with features including multiple choice and 'drag and drop' questions, labelled graphics and more.

Optimised for every device, Nimble says courses built with Nimble Author look 'beautiful' whether on desktop, tablet or mobile, while it's also compatible with any LMS.

It's completely cloud based, so there's no need for installation or IT support, and no elearning experience is necessary, with full training and support included with the license.

The company also offers its own range of ready-made, brandable courses, Nimble Essentials, which cover everything from mental health, first aid, and fire safety, to diversity and inclusion, sexual harassment, and role-specific training like manual handling, data protection, and team leadership.

Ranging from 15-minute 'quick guides', to more in-depth elearning lasting up to 50 minutes, the CPD-certified courses are available to purchase either individually, or as part of a package.

The new Nimble LMS

Enabling managers to enrol new learners and track their progress, the new Nimble LMS is a simple and versatile learning management system, which users can have up and running in minutes.

More than simply a visual refresh, Nimble says the upgraded system has been developed around what organisations, training teams and learners actually need from modern workplace learning, informed by customer feedback and research.

The new platform enables the efficient management, tracking and reporting of elearning through a user-friendly interface that's customisable with your own company branding, featuring comprehensive analytics and learner insight, and an add-on for multi-tiered site administration available, too.

It also comes with a free Nimble Author licence, and users can try before they buy. Expert support and training are included, and as with Nimble Author and Nimble Essentials, there’s a 15 per cent discount for charities.

The People Side of Nimble

What sets Nimble apart from other elearning providers is that its customers are able to talk to real people to get expert help and advice, from its dedicated support and customer success teams based here in the county.

Working with a wide range of organisations – from Heathrow and Bristol airports, to Crew Clothing and the Woodland Trust, along with many within Gloucestershire – Nimble makes it a priority to find out what customers need, and to work closely alongside them to achieve their training goals.

The company also holds an annual Nimble Community Day and Awards for customers who come from far and wide, which takes place at Stonehouse Court Hotel.

The awards celebrate customers who use digital learning to make a genuine difference in three areas: Course of the Year, Positive Business Impact, and Charity Champions. Two Gloucestershire charities, National Star and Meningitis Now, were among this year's finalists, with Meningitis Now winning the Charity Champions category.

Nimble also became a Certified B Corporation in 2025, having taken a range of steps to enhance its commitment to people and the planet.

Actions included moving to ethical partnerships across the business; launching a career framework and more non-working days for its employees; supporting local community organisations, charities and schools with elearning, work placements and more; improving the security and reliability of its systems for its customers; and reducing its digital energy consumption, through powering down assets outside of working hours.
