Gloucestershire-headquartered accountants and business advisory firm, Hazlewoods, is expanding its offering with a brand-new, dedicated private client team.
Responding to increasing demand from individuals and families seeking joined-up advice on complex financial challenges, such as tax and succession planning, the new team will provide a comprehensive set of services including inheritance and estate planning, wealth structuring, intergenerational wealth management, UK and non-UK trust services, and business exit support.
Headed up by partner, Krista Woodman, the eight-person team is comprised of specialist experts from within the company, as well as key external hires.
Krista said: 'Today's clients are looking for much more than traditional tax advice. They want a trusted adviser who understands the bigger picture and can help them make confident decisions about their wealth, their family and their future.
'Our new private client team has been created to meet that demand, providing a highly personalised service built around each client's individual circumstances and long-term goals.'
The launch of the new team is particularly timely, as many business owners start to consider sales and succession plans following April's major changes to inheritance tax.
Targeting a gap in the market, Hazlewoods new team combines personal and business disciplines under one roof to help private clients protect and grow their wealth for future generations.
Hazlewoods partner, Scott Lawrence, added: 'What sets our private client team apart is their ability to look beyond individual transactions and understand the wider needs of the family.
'I recently saw this first-hand when Krista supported the sale of a family business, helping an elderly mother and her son navigate the next stage of their lives. Through tailored wealth planning and tax advice, she reduced their inheritance and income tax exposure while giving them confidence about their financial future.'
As one of the south west's largest independent accountants and business advisers, Hazlewoods currently employs over 600 people across its offices in Cheltenham, Bristol and Cardiff, with the new private client team strengthening its ability to provide integrated advice through working with the firm's tax, financial planning, and corporate finance specialists.
