Bringing on board new specialists and technologies and opening a second location over the county border in Oxfordshire, Cheltenham men's health clinic Aubergine Physio is expanding its reach and services in 2026.
Providing expert, discreet and evidence-based care for men experiencing pelvic health, sexual health and musculoskeletal concerns, Aubergine has built a strong reputation for private men's healthcare in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds since its founding in 2022 by director and men's health specialist, Stephanie Smith-Rowles – who is also director and specialist MSk physiotherapist at sister clinic, Pea Green Physio.
And the clinic is further enhancing its offering in 2026, with Wilson Mbutu – also a specialist MSk, men's health and neurological physiotherapist joining the team at Aubergine in Cheltenham, as a second men's health specialist.
Combining specialist physiotherapy with advanced medical technologies such as focussed shockwave therapy and EMTT, the clinic treats a range of men's health conditions including pelvic floor rehabilitation, bladder incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction, coccydinia and Osteitis Pubis, while it also provides pre- and post-prostate cancer surgery physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
It also treats conditions which directly impact sexual function, including chronic pelvic pain syndrome, erectile disfunction, hard flaccid syndrome, Peyronie’s disease, and pudendal neuralgia.
Alongside treatment, Aubergine also advises patients on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle, from strength training and cardiovascular exercise, to nutrition, including monitoring sugar intake and cholesterol levels, sleep habits, stopping smoking and vaping, and reducing alcohol intake, all of which can contribute to sexual health issues.
With Wilson's appointment, the clinic has added state-of-the-art diagnostics to its list of services, with Wilson bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in using ultrasound diagnostics, providing real-time imaging to identify and re-educate pelvic floor muscle control – while it's also great for identifying injuries affecting the pelvic region, and at every stage of rehabilitation.
Aubergine is also set to serve patients across more of the Cotswolds and beyond, with the opening of its second clinic, in Bicester in Oxfordshire.
Launching this July 2026, services in Bicester will be led by specialist MSk and men's health physiotherapist, Ben Wallis, offering the full range of men's health physiotherapy and focus shockwave therapy.
On Aubergine Physio's expansion, Stephanie said: 'I'm incredibly happy to be bringing Aubergine Physio to a new region, and that I've got two amazing physios joining me.
'They both bring so much to male health physiotherapy, and it's great that patients get the option of having a male or female therapist now, too.'
Both Wilson's and Ben's diaries are now open – to book in for a free 15-minute discovery call, or to find out more about the services offered by Aubergine Physio, head to auberginephysio.co.uk.
