Hartpury University and Hartpury College has named Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital its preferred medical partner.
The new partnership will see the hospital provide expert healthcare support to staff, students and elite athletes at the leading specialist sports education provider near Gloucester.
Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is well-known and respected for its patient care in diagnostic imaging, orthopaedics, sports medicine, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, as well as being one of the first private hospitals in the county to offer robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery.
Its multidisciplinary team will support Hartpury students at every stage of development, to help them achieve their health and performance goals, as well as helping to prevent and treat injuries, rehabilitate, and get players back on the field.
As well as access to Nuffield's high-quality clinical services and medical expertise, the partnership also gives Hartpury students opportunities for collaborative health and wellbeing initiatives, from the long-term health conditions programme launching in October 2026 to specialist workshops and educational events, supporting performance and overall wellbeing throughout their academic and sporting journeys at the college and university.
