Over Barn in Gloucester has been recognised as Gloucestershire's best wedding barn, as the only barn venue in the county to make it through to the finals of the Wedding Industry Awards 2027.
The prestigious Wedding Industry Awards celebrate the very best wedding businesses across the UK, including venues and suppliers. As well as being Gloucestershire's top wedding barn, becoming a regional finalist places Over Barn among the very best venues in the wider south west.
The former grain barn, located within the grounds of Over Farm, has been in the Keene family for five generations, and this national recognition marks what it describes as 'an exciting milestone'.
Combining agricultural heritage and charm with sociable indoor and outdoor spaces, the characterful venue lends itself to memorable celebrations – and even played host to the Gloucestershire Business Awards 2026 Meet the Judges event.
Venue manager Josh Loughery said: 'We are incredibly proud of this achievement; it is a testament to how hard every member of staff has worked to make every day special and unique.
'These awards wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the nominations and reviews from our couples over the last year.'
